The Secant and Cosecant

There's not much you need to know in terms of graphs and all, but you do need to only remember the secants and cosecants. They are the reciprocals of the cosine and sine, respectively.

The secant is denoted and defined as:The cosecant is denoted and defined as: But why are we learning this and nothing else about them?
Because they can be used in formulas, expressions and other calculations to make things easier, most of the time.
