Indeterminacy

Let's consider this function:This function is known as the alternating sign function. It's usually used in product with some functions to make them alternate sign.

Any power of 1 will be 1.

Based on the properties of exponents, f(x) will be +1 for all even x, and -1 for all odd x.
So, this function's values do not get closer to a point. It does not converge.
These values do not get further and further from a point, either. This function does not diverge either.
But, it also does not remain the same. It "oscillates" between either -1 or 1.

Such a function or sequence is Indeterminate.
