Function Symmetries

There are two types of symmetries, based on the function's behaviour.

A function has Odd symmetry if it meets the following criteria:In simpler words, a function has odd symmetry if its' graph is symmetric with respect to the origin.

A function has Even symmetry if it meets the following criteria:In simpler words, a function that has even symmetry exhibits y-axis symmetry on its' graph.
