Let's take all numbers in R, starting from zero, all the way to positive infinity, and let f(x) be defined:Let's start evaluating!Take a look at its graph:

As we keep going along the real line, we see that our output just keeps getting bigger and bigger. It does not approach any point whatsoever, it does not converge.

Instead, it keeps getting further from any point! We say that this function Diverges.
In this case, it diverges to positive infinity.

Finally, when we have neither convergence nor divergence, there will be another behaviour:
