66 - Voltage Divider Rule in AC Analysis

In most of AC analysis a lot of the laws and theorems used in DC are similar for AC.

In a series AC circuit the voltage is divided amongst components according to their impedance values, for which we use the voltage divider rule.

In this circuit, we find that, in general, the voltage divider rule for an AC circuit is , where is the component whose voltage we wish to find.
